Schwinn exercise bikes are an excellent exercise bike which are made throughout the United States. I have the super style dropouts, chrome plating, 3 hole brake bridge, original decals (since removed), all telling me that mine should rightfully be called a Supergoose, from August 1981.Where are Schwinn and Nautilus exercise bikes made? I still have the old pictures of the worn decals floating around somewhere, before I removed them, complete with the seat tube decal saying "Made in USA".īut I can't figure out what's not adding up here. When I went to clean the paint off to read the decals, it faintly but clearly said Supergoose on the expected hologram background as I was hoping when I bought it. When I got it, it still had some of the original decals, ruined and covered by horrible and faded chrome paint. My serial is H199999 (frame number withheld), indicating August 1981, "regular" goose, whatever that's supposed to mean. I've been reading that the Supergooses all had a TC or an S in front of the serial number.
